Fighter Kite Making Masterclass - Family Workshop

In this session you will learn how to make an Indian Fighting Kite, known in India as a ‘Patang’, using both classic and contemporary techniques and materials.

You will also learn about the kite’s history and be sent home with instructions on how to make them at home, as well as hints and tips on how to fly them.

Leading the workshop is Chris Jarratt, the shining light behind the ‘Community Kite Project’, a collective of artists, designers and makers who have a passion for kite making and kite flying.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

This class is for the family,  become the favourite godfather, uncle or aunt and bring the child in your life.

Each session caters for up to 12 people.

Children must be 7 years up and they will need you to help.

All materials are supplied.

The ticket makes one kite.
